A moment of truth
"Our sight reaches lands that aren’t even discovered, places we didn’t knew exist, and memories we didn’t know were there. Some say we’re a made creature, made by those still higher than us, but that doesn’t have to mean anything. We are free to live, to express our desires and love who we want. Adrenaline constantly flowing through our veins, blood pumping with every breath we take, we live, we live and we’re free. The art of staying up and discovering new worlds, opening new doors, the art of showing the world what you made and all the reasons that come with it."
About me
I'm an 18 year old art student from Antwerp. I live in an open village surrounded by fields and farms, where I like to inspire myself for the art I create. I have the feeling that I need to show people that going through a difficult time can also be a new way of learning and expressing yourself. That's why I like to visualize my art with both memories and thoughts.
Installations, paintings and stories are all different ways to visualize ideas and imaginations. Instead of leaving things as a knot in my head, I try to form them into a new image. I work with themes like my youth, memories, and thoughts. Most of my works turn out to be large 3D installations, but writing is also a big part of my self-expression. When people see my work they often feel a combination of fear and curiosity. My goal is to encourage my audience to question reality, and how it actually affects us and the people around us.
